Brannon Burroughs is a senior associate attorney at Oliver Hughes LLC. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Burroughs worked for over a decade in private practice with Congressman and NRA President Bob Barr serving individuals, businesses, and government clients in civil practice throughout the country and abroad. Mr. Burroughs has also served as outside counsel to the Department of Transportation, various local and county governments, and managed large scale E-Discovery litigation projects for major power and pharmaceutical companies. Throughout his career, Mr. Burroughs has specialized in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes, complex civil litigation, and construction-related matters.

Mr. Burroughs received his JD from Atlanta’s John Marshall School of Law where he served as Chief Research Assistant for the Dean of Scholarship. While in law school, Mr. Burroughs co-authored a casebook on contract law and co-created the school’s online jurisprudence class. Mr. Burroughs graduated cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Georgia State University.

Outside of business and construction law, Mr. Burroughs is dedicated to his family and church, and he enjoys backyard farming, playing instruments and video games with his sons.
